When the topic of packing and shipping come up, what seems to be the first words that pop into people’s minds? Hassle, hectic, tiresome, boring, tedious? Luckily, it does not have to be this way. Craters & Freighters is your one-stop-shop for all things packing and shipping. In one simple phone call we can take care of all your worries from pick up, packaging, shipping, insurance; everything! From heirlooms, artwork, electronics, antiques, valuables or a 25-foot 8,000-pound power washer; we ship it all! We are not your stereotypical packaging and shipping company, we put personal care into every item we receive. Here is a glimpse of how we handle every customer’s order.

First, we build a custom wooden crate to assure a snug fit for your items, then we do not just put your items in and fill with peanuts, but rather we use bubble packaging, glass mask, Styrofoam wrap or even anti-static bubble packaging when prepping your shipment. After the item has been prepped we place it in the custom crate that has foam bead board surrounding all walls, top and base. Once the item is completely packaged we then place the crates on a pallet base. This procedure allows the crate or crates to be moved with a forklift or pallet jack and stop the items from being pushed or dropped.
